The current gen game play does not compare to the PS2 version. Although I have a 360, it saddens me to say that I will be purchasing the PS2 version again!

Even though the 360 version will have another camera view, it will not compare to the ps2's. I'd rather play with stick figures with great gameplay than the graphics looking great with little substance.

It's not terrible. I wouldn't play it alone but my 7-year old enjoys playing it against me. We play the Smash and Dash mini game the most.

I can do without Trey Wingo's bad commentary however.

Exactley how i feel. I love the PS2 gameplay for both NCAA and Madden. I wasnt excited for any of the new games for Next-Gen but after reading that little info for Madden on PS2 im getting really excited to play

I can actually throw an out route! I can go over the top realistically! It even has the QB avoid from NFL 2k!

About to start a franchise and see how tuned the stats are.

**Also noteworthy are the excellent running animations.

edit- Why so serious? I'm not bashing Madden NFL 10.
There's no way i could play last gen madden football anymore..i just cant do it...visuals are half the experience imho

Plus its one freaking dead feeling game of pigskin... M10 will blow last gen away it so many ways especially in atmosphere

Actually he isn't alone on the PS2 version of Madden. I loved it also, and so did many others on this forum. I found it to be so much more fun and authentic than Madden 09 on the 360.

When Madden 10 comes out I'm sure he will give it a fair shot. The brother is just saying he is enjoying the game. He isn't dissing any version of Madden.

OP enjoy the game and make the best of it. It is a fun game.
Good post. I've played the xbox 1 version all the way through Madden '09. It's just more of a complete game, and because of that, more fun than the next-gen Madden IMHO.

I'll rent '10 for the 360 and see what its got. If it's fun, "sim-like" and complete, I'll gladly make the purchase. If it isn't, then I'll go back to '09 on the xbox 1.

I think at this point Ian is not caring to much more what people are thinking bout madden 10. Most people are loving madden 10 like I am so far. But there is some people out there that will always bring up to 2k football game no matter what. But oh well.
