Did you update the drivers like i posted just a few minutes ago? The drivers have to be updated to Version 2 from the original 1.XX.

I guess we are out of luck then man. Xport 360 finds my card everytime. I've restarted my Computer and unplugged the Kit just to try and make it come up an error and it wont. Maybe its Vista creating the problem. I've tried to help for the last few hours but i guess it went to no avail because it still wont work. I'll read around and see if i come up with anything when i get some free time but its looking like this is a dead issue. Sorry i couldn't help you out.

If you want to get your drivers back to V1 then remove Xport 2.07 and Go to "Device Manager" and then click the "USBIO Controlled Devices" and Uninstall them. Unhook your Transfer Kit then Plug it back in and when it goes to install the drivers click "No Not At This Time" then Install from a list or specific location" then "Dont Search i will choose the driver to install" then click X360 MU USBIO - Device 1 and let it install and then everything will be back to normal. I just did it and my Xchange360 works fine again.

i just don't know what i am doing wrong. I just did what you suggested and its still messed up.

Yeah i wasn't suggesting that it would fix yours i just posted that so you would have your original drivers back to V1 and the backup button shouldn't be grayed out. If anything i would guess its a Vista compatibility issue (like always). I dont know what to tell you. Maybe if you have a computer running XP it would work but i try to stay away from Vista because of all the Compatibility issues.

i know exactly what ur talkin about Anthony. I just uninstalled everything as far as the mem. unit data & other programs & sub folders. restarted the computer. then plug in BOTH cord & mem cord. everything was detected. then install Xport360 v2.07 (vista compatible by the way). although i had to turn off admin control, then restart the comp to actually move the file to the mem card. after i did that it worked perfectly. your instructions were perfect. go back to the first day of this thread, skim through the post. first it'll be out, then it won't....then it'll be out, then it won't....for 2 months
