yeah so Donny isnt doin a great job, especially what he did to Jake Delhomme -- giving him a 75? Delhomme definately should be an 82-85

Delhomme used to be an 85. He is playing awful out there. 75 seems fair.

It doesn't matter what YOU THINK LT is capable of. An 88 is a rating above the level he is playing at.

A 79 is what he is playing like now. There are rookie RBs that look better out there. Both of the Panthers backs are light years better than LT is right now.

Tomlinson OVR rating = 77 imo ..3.7 avg/carry

Sproles OVR rating = 70 2.7 avg/carry, give him 95+ return

Delhomme is terrible - 73 OVR rating, lower AWRness.

Heyward-Bey is a PERFECT example. Fastest guy in the combine and is one of if not the best athlete in the draft at the WR position. No he would not. Have you watched Howard play at all?? He is not a 3-4 OLB by any means. His biggest strength is is coverage skills not pass rushing. He is very good in coverage and is pretty damn fast but by no means is he made for dealing with and fighting off tackles rushing the QB. He would not be using his greatest asset on the field be trying to rush the QB all the time.

it doesn't matter what the "problem" is. if that was the case Darren McFadden should be a 95 overall....LOL. He isn't producing thus his rating is where it should be.

LT isn't producing + HE IS OLD + COMING OFF INJURIES + CAN'T STAY HEALTHY = HE IS TRASH NOW.

Also, the reason you think Howard is a coverage LB and not a rush LB is BECAUSE HE PLAYS FOR THE RAIDERS!!!!!

There are 31 other teams in the NFL....then there is the Raiders.

Raiders ALMOST NEVER blitz. The amount of times they blitz in a season can be counted on 2 hands.

That is why you think that. When Howard blitzed in the preseason last year he was a force. He was always in the QBs face. They just don't blitz.

The Raiders DEFENSE IS MADE UP OF THE BEST FOOTBALL PLAYERS IN THE NFL.

If a starter gets cut - they will be snatched up IN A HEARTBEAT.

They play man coverage on the corners almost ALL GAME. What other team does it that much? NONE.

Safeties play deep and are HIGHLY accountable....unlike most.

LBs have to cover sideline to sideline. DTs are in charge of rushing and stopping the run. They are spread wide.

Every good player that coems to the Raiders notices that there are some AWESOME football players there.....and they immediatly think they are close to being a winning team. THEN they find the truth in that the scheme Al Davis has in place will NOT ALLOW IT.

They will be a perennial loser until Amy Trask is in charge.

There is no telling how good or bad Heyward-Bey is. What would Jerry Rice have been if he's QB for his career was JaMarcus Russell or Ryan Leaf? lol Not calling DHB Rice...just saying. A WR can't be judged until he has a decent QB.

Back to the point of the thread -

LT should not be above an 84...and thats a stretch. 77-79 is realistic right now.
