I had the same problem. I could get an individual player to import after fixing the categories but not the entire roster.

Yeah, it's an odd one. Like all the individuals import but for some reason when combined they wont. At first I thought it was space but I deleted around 20-50 and tried importing 2-5 players and still not dice.

Going to play around some more and update if I find any ways around it.

I'm getting these errors

I've opened up the code and the line on both of these errors are :

string[] data = sr.ReadLine( ).Split( new char[] { ',' } );

and

List lMR = ImportGenericTable( maddenDB[ "PLAY"] );

Anyone any ideas whats wrong?

Ok so I played around with the code and it now removed the errors about the lines but the other errors remain (I thought they would go too :P)

Have it working fine now

For the csv file I was converting a Madden 13 file to Madden 10 using Excel. When I saved a csv it put ";" instead of "," so I opened in text and found/replaced all using the edit menu.

Afterwards saved the file and selected encryption type to Unicode. First time I updated roster I got the error again and clicked continue (no error in line anymore but still same as last time) at first it looked like nothing happened and I began deleting players for space then I noticed Jimmy Garropolas name :P so I imported the file again, this time no errors and now all players there

Happy now but have to test if it will work on xbox later on.

Going to try update some of the portraits (hate silhouettes :P)

I don't suppose anyone has any of the portrait IDs for the players you draft or know the ball park figure? Might be trial and error I think

In Randall's roster thread a while back someone went through and IDed many players... That's the best I can think of right now, see if you can search that thread and there was a solid few pages of one guy listing IDs for pages... TonyBologna might recall also.

I'm currently working on an addition to my Madden 25 roster update adding the 2016 draft class creating the rooks from scratch can some one point me in the direction of which attribute # coincides with which skin and hari color ect. the search function never seems to produce any result for me each time I use it there is nothing if anyone knows where this info is living could you quote and re post for me please and thank in advance....
