playmakers from vsn just released a classic 1990 roster file with 20 teams on it.

"This was a very time consuming file to put together do to Madden not allowing us to edit any players appearance.

I had to spend coutless hours getting players as close to their correct size (height/weight) as possible. The file is so detailed that most will be really close to their actual age and year in the league during that single year. There are a few duplicate players for example Neil Smith and Randall Cunningham....but for the most part I tried to limit players to just one team which is why Deion Sanders is only on the Falcons.

All Colleges and Hometowns are accurate for each player.

Starters and every single backup player on the roster for that year were recreated and edited.

I researched tons of old draft articles reflecting most players combine 40 times during the 90's. Which means legendary players like Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith won't be rated with 90+ speed the way EA rates them in the game. This will be good teams but their overall ratings won't be 90+ do to lots of ratings being scaled back like Agility, Speed, Jumping and Strength ratings reducing the inflated overall ratings you would see with other classic rosters done by EA in years past. "

Ye, downloaded this roster from VSN, Playmakers made a brilliant set to play with. Had a blast playing the 1990 Bills against a tough 1990 Giants, off cause I lost, 31-17.

THIS ROSTER IS GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! VERY VERY REALISTIC. for instance Jerry Rice does not rate in the 90's in speed. But does in Acceleration and Elusiveness...same for Mike Irvin....speed is in the 80's - but he had good Acceleration and strength.

Big thanks to Playmakers. Quality roster... most of the stuff for PAST rosters just aren't very good.

Really hoping the next two teams on playmakers roster set will be the Dolphins and Patriots.... can't have the 90's without Bledsoe and especially DAN MARINO
