Re: Bill's Realism Sliders (only Coach Mode for now)

I have been changing teams around, only exhibition mode. I have used Tampa Bay, NY Giants, NY Jets, Tennessee, San Francisco, Houston and Chicago to this point. They are in coach mode. I do adjust my D from time to time and raise/lower the kicking meter for FG's and Punts. These are not blow out games but I am winning by scores of 40-28, 38-31, etc. Last night I finally lost with Tampa Bay to Arizona 28-26 but missed a 60 yrd FG with no time remaining. I knew I wasn't going to make it but I couldn't see going deep either as I have hit from 54 and the 7 MPH wind was with me. In addition, I have NEVER played a team with a lower rating than myself.

i find it's near impossible to have a blowout every game with these sliders like you're describing.. hell.. default all-pro won't give you consistent blowouts game after game after game like the way you're describing it

CPU vs. CPU has been excellent with these, so we're testing them in coach mode now.
Can you also address the fact that mostly every game a rb or te leads the team in receptions? I think this mostly due to such high pass reaction time, because it doesn't happen with the other sliders i've tried.

Re: Bill's Realism Sliders (only Coach Mode for now)

I am doing a Tennessee Titans Dynasty Report with these sliders, using Roster Update #2. I am finding them to be really good base sliders for coach mode. In fact, I am struggling some to win games ... stats are pretty realistic. Check out the reports here
http://www.operationsports.com/dynasties.php

I would say 2 things I have noticed
1. completion percentage is a bit low for QB (not off by much maybe 5 points overall)
2. Fumbles -- too many.

Thanks for your efforts Bill, look forward to seeing the updates ...

The only problem I have with them so far is the injuries. Also, I played as the Vikes against the Saints. Favre got sacked 9 times. Nobody threw an int. Game was exciting. it went to OT on a last second FG by the Saints. OT went down to about 3 minutes left, when Favre drove the Vikes down to the 23 yd line of the Saints, Vikes won 20-17. Fun game. There were maybe 2 or 3 big plays, but it was a lot of fun.

I do think the QB completion percentage seems a bit low for the Human Coached team for sure, maybe it's just me -- also a few too many fumbles, maybe -- not excessive, but an issue. Also I get a decent amount of penalties each game, but they are almost ALWAYS offensive holding calls.

I'm going to reduce holding and use the fatigue/injuries changes manning2harrison made.

I don't want to sound impatient or anything, but are you still working on play mode sliders? If so do you have an ETA?

I played with your sliders last year and they made the game oh so much better so I have been waiting for the past few weeks to see what you came up with for this year. I'm anxious for the time when I can pick my madden back up and finally get into my Lions franchise.

Thanks for your hard work.
