Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

So I went 1-3 in my Pre-Season. Made some adjustments to help pass coverage and bumped the MLB priority to 90. He kept doing that slow tackle animation and the Safeties would always run up and turn it into an assist.

Going to play the Rams before I go to bed.

Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

So it's halftime and I'm leading 16-14.

Vick is 11 for 17 with 131 yards. 1 TD | 1 INT

McCoy is 11 for 55. I cut Dion Lewis because he had 5 fumbles in the pre-season and signed Clinton Portis. It doesn't matter anyway because McCoy will be in his prime for the next 3-4 years.

Jamar Chaney, my starting MLB has 6 solo tackles. 7 total. Casey Matthews is out for the first 2 weeks from an injury in the first pre-season game. He will then start MLB and Chaney will move to ROLB.

Everything seems good but I wish the score was a bit lower. Like at least 13-10 or something.

Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

So we won 29-24. Only 2 touchdowns though. Our rookie kicker sure got a workout.

Vick was 20 for 31. 231 Yards. 1 TD, 1 INT.

McCoy was 23 for 103. Ronnie Brown had 35 yards and a TD. Portis was 2 for 8.

Jamar Chaney had 11 tackles. 13 total. Oh, and an INT. Forget that in the last post.

We only gave up 411 yards. Not too bad compared to pre-season(475-550)

Falcons are next. Almost 7am and I've been up all night. Not even tired.

Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

how are you guys playing 15min with 25 secs run off?
am i doing something wrong? i tried it and the clock is broke im sure.always goes to 20 secs left. This was with 25/20/15 setting etc, just dsnt work.and id heard it was broke before patch 2.
the reason i ask is ive tried 15 mins on M12 and i got 159 plays in total. And i let the clock run down to below 10 secs on each of my plays.
I just go to settings in the main menu and put clock to 25...thats right isnt it?
i want to play 15mins,but to have 159 plays in a NFL game just isnt real imo.
How do you guys play the clock?

Re: Normal/All Pro/Realism

Dfos bro - lots of drastic coaching scheme changes.. I tried to read through thread but it's too choppy.. When u get a min could u summarize? I feel like the aggression at 100 is gonna expose cpu defenses bc they blitz so much?? Also CPU offenses will be airing it out like crazy? Lastly, 75 pass rush v 10 pass block looks scary from a human sack stadpoint... How are number of plays at 15 min?? Just lots changes here! I trust ur testing though, just want to understand it better

20 sec runoff is the only option in franchise mode.
On 15min qtrs your going to get apx 3-5 more plays per qtr than over the previious 13min setup.
If both teams stick w/ the run then its not too bad.
My last game I had 33 runs and 33 passes and the game really didnt last much longer than 13mins.

The benefits of solo tackles, backups playing more, etc really outweighs the problem of I have too many plays.
Play your backup rb, I switched my runningbacks @ halftime, then back after the 3rd qtr.
My starter ended up 24att, backup 6att, and 3rd stringer Choice had 3att.
I wish we could use the 25sec run off in franchise mode.

So run more and use your backups more.

Seems kinda wrong to have to intentionally pull your starter man... Idk about that :/

Top Five Madden NFL 12 Slider Sets
" This might be the most complete slider set on OS to be honest. One of the big differences in dfos81's slider philosophy and others is the idea of "equal based sliders". This means, in layman's terms, that the sliders should be the same for the User and the CPU. Coaching schemes are provided for better balance with these sliders as well as a great explanation on the speed threshold slider. The latest All-Pro v2 set plays very well for me."

What version was this.. I agree the balance n animations were perfect ...
