Jarodd21: you ever try your sliders w/ DPI at zero and OPI at 25 ?
Im thinking of trying this on your Blue set to decrease these high scoring shootouts..
Naw I haven't gotten into the penalty slider stuff. My sliders seem to work good with my current penalty sliders and I didn't want to deal with the extra headache of messing with those sliders. I just take pride in figuring out how to slow the CPU doing with my defensive scheme. Trust me the CPUs defense will challenge your offense with my blue or black sliders.. If you make a mistake you will pay for it..

Yea I used to play Green-Red set w/player Black-set pass but scores were still too high for player and cpu. I tried Blue-set and was a good game, yea the cpu will pick you off and jump routes I love the challenge, but still too high scores for both player and cpu. Ill look into it thanks

Easy fix. Put the CPUs defense on the black set, the USER accuracy on the black set, and the CPUs offense on the green set.. The scores should tone down with that setup.
Hey Jarodd, I went through the offseason and played the preseason quickly, my only focus was getting XP for young guys. I'm getting ready to play game one, a rematch from the playoffs last year vs the Lions, still with the same settings I had at the end of last year. Heres a quick recap of my offseason. I franchised Justin Tuck and ended up keeping him. I traded Bradshaw to the Patriots for a 3rd next year and signed Toby Gerhart to backup Wilson as more of a power back. Jerome Shuman is my new FB. The bust of my offseason was having a 63 rookie LG(nice blocking ratings though) and a 67 overall fa center as starters. I lost Webster and Spikes(despite a hard push to resign) in FA. In the first round I drafted Jazz Robinson a 80 MLB with star development and he was to replace Spikes, but he got injured in the preseason and will miss the first 5 weeks. My second round pick was Rashawn Norwood, a 85 overall CB with fast development to replace Webster. The rest of my signings and picks were depth guys(all of the draft picks have normal development. One guy impressed me out of the rest of the picks, Nick Cobbs, he is a 6 foot 3 WR with 94 speed with normal development who showed flashes in the preseason, easily won the battle to be the 4th WR and has a chance to put pressure on Randle to be the 3 as the season advances.
So I haven't played any more games in my Seattle CCM but I just played 2 Play Now games as Seattle. I used the green sliders like I do in CCM but put the quarter length at 5 minutes because I just wanted a quick game. Anyway, first game against Dallas I kept them to only 2 FGs and I think the final score was 6-10 or something like that. Second game against Atlanta was a bit tougher, here's the box.
It seemed easier in these games than in my CCM. I didn't throw an interception in either game and my defense seemed a little better. I'm not sure if that was because of me or not. The new rosters have Seattle rated 87 and in my CCM I'm 81. Did I just play better or is the Play Now rosters what did it for me?
I'm also curious, I read a lot of people saying having a strong running game will open up the field and allow you to pull off some good PA passes. Is that only true for human vs. human or does the CPU react to the plays you're calling? Because it seems like I can just do the same running play over and over and I'll average 6 YPC. In this OT I didn't pass once. I ran down the field using Power O and HB Dive.
Okay, is there an explanation to why the Jags picked me off like 7 times? It wasn't my fault either. I made good throws and their DBs went unreal and jumped up like 5 feet in the air to make those picks.
