It was the most ridiculously cheesy game of the year. I hadn't seen any CPU cheese all year, and it just looks like the CPU saved it all for this game. All you have to do is look at the damn stats. The freakin game felt like a final boss battle or something. I feel so cheated Greenlea was playing by himself out there, not one of my secondary members could keep up with any of his WRs and even in tight coverage, they refused to swat balls. My 90 OVR CB got burned for 2 huge gains in this one game, and I mean burned like...he shouldn't even be in the NFL kinda burn. Their RB Dennis Allen, was getting hit sticked by my LBs with 90 STR and not going down! He got like 5-6 yds ever run. I was up 14 in the 2nd and the Jets cut it to 7. I get the ball back and throw to my RB, and the MLB gets a boost and outruns my Offensive Player of the Year for the pick with 1:00 left. They score effortlessly and tie it up. Then finally, I find myself in a tie game with 3:00 left, I'm going down the field, looking to kick the the game winning FG with a death grip on R1 and guess what? DOESN'T MATTER. Mason gets popped and fumbles, giving the ball up to the Jets. I waste all my TOs and force them to kick a FG. So I get the ball with 1:40 left and Smith is killing it, hitting everyone and on a 3rd and 15, nailed Loften to put us on the NYJ 26. Next play? Sack. Next play? Sack. Both of these sacks really only allowed me 2 seconds to react. I am now on the NYJ 40 with 12 seconds left and the clock running. I finally hike it with 0:02 left and throw a hail mary to Loften, who gets swatted in the endzone. Game over and I end the 2024 season at 17-1. Cheap end to a good season. It was ridiculous! Lol I almost put up 700 yds total offense trying to fight it. I really feel like I need to win 2025. Smith is 34 now and I feel like this might be his last year!
