24-14 after 3rd. Returned a punt for a TD. And on their next drive I forced a fumble by one of their WRs with DeCoud and turned that to a FG. I sacked Glennon and knocked him out. A rookie has come in and done alright. Were up to 5 sacks. Coverage types.

00:52 - 1st and 10 from the 20 - Vick to the right sideline for Jason Avant. Gain of 20, Avant goes out of bounds as we have zero timeouts.

00:48 - 1st and 10 from the 40 - We call a vertical play, Damaris Johnson beats his man down the middle but I overthrow him. 2nd down.

00:43 - 2nd and 10 from the 40 - Hail Mary play again. Vick rolls left as pressure comes, takes his time and sees Avant WIDE OPEN in the middle of the field, coming back to the ball. Vick lobs it up and Avant takes it, gets hit but holds onto the football!!! Down to the 21 yard line with 35 seconds left, clock still running.

00:26 - 1st and 10 from the 21 - Vick hurries to the line and instead of spiking it we have called a play to the sideline for Maclin to the right and Jackson to the left. Vick snaps the ball, waits for Maclin to start his move to the sideline and fires it in...and Maclin BRINGS IT IN!!! He gets tackled at the 5 yard line and tries to get into the endzone but is ONE YARD SHORT.

19 SECONDS LEFT NO TIMEOUTS FROM THE 1 YARD LINE!

Next game was wonderful, 21-20 final with each team punting 8 times! Finally got some defense in there, and only 1 int for my D and 1 int and a fumble recovery for the panthers. I have to have the 100 threshold and 100 tackle for the CPU. It really keeps my Qb from averaging 100yd rushing per gm. With gameflow/gameplan i may get 5-6 read options calls per qtr. and 1 or 2 will be keepers for RGIII and that really wears on the cpu rush D. I also have a higher fatigue setting, I feel like it puts more of the human element into the game b/c the backups are not as consistent, and more mistakes can be made both offensively and defensively. I even had 1 of my OL players get hurt for a qtr. which was a 1st!
Still only 3 total injuries(w/ 3 starters out 3-4wks) for my team in 4 games, nothing ridiculous.
Its also nice seeing the rotation @ Hb and other spots throughout the game. Just can't go too high(75) b/c players disappear in the 4th. I lowered that some and its much better now.
Anyway, going off on a tangent now I guess. I agree w/ your setup though

00:10 - 1st and goal from the 1 - Vick scrambles left as he senses pressure, sees Jeff Maehl in the corner of the endzone and I try to fire it into him but cos I was on the run the ball goes left.

Clock has stopped at 6 seconds. Probably got 1-2 plays left to win it.

Called a 'sticks' play and Jeff Maehl beat his man to the left, ran towards the sideline and I hit him in stride for the SCORE!!! Go for 2 and miss....but...

EAGLES WIN 25-24!!

DAMN the adrenaline rush was crazy on that final drive. 80 yards in 52 seconds. NO WORRIES! 2-0!

Finished with just those 5 sacks. Held them to under 200 total offense. 2-11 on 3rd down. 14 minutes of possession. 130ish plays. 13 sec run off.

Another game down. Compare to Jacksonville game. No complaints here. Felt like I was playing a bad offense and a okay defense. I got sacked a few times waiting for something to open up.
