Giants 27 tackles, Lions 30


Plays - 78.


Annoying!! Lol. Might leave it at 16 like before and just succumb to the fact that it's going to be too difficult to increase tackles without hindering gameplay.

Was going to cancel out at HT but decided to play on.

Beat the Lions 27-23


Tackles...

Lions - 59
Giants - 55

Plays - 149.

This was at playclock 17, snap immediately and kill clock where possible.


I don't think this is going to work to be honest after playing three games with it at 20, 18, and 17. There's simply not enough tackles occurring. Might have a think about my next plan of attack...lol

Do you guys think 15 Min Quarters with 12 second acceleration will provide a realistic number of plays? I don't snap right away. Was wondering if that was too much and I should do 14.

Also, I've never played with 100 threshold. In fact I played all previous maddens on 0 threshold since I thought it was unrealistic how a random DT can catch my RB from behind. On M12 it was ridiculously hard to throw deep on any threshold above 0. On M25, can I still throw deep (w/o having an elite QB or WR)? Is gameplay still realistic? I understand a higher threshold means better defense and god knows M25 needs that, just wondering if I should go in between at 50 or if 100 is legit.

I'm on 2 week vacation and can't test

So should the CPU Wr Catch be at 25??? I thought WTBB said it was a bust

I would consider using accel clock at 16. We had it at 12 but we were incorrectly counting plays. As per NFL.com, plays are counted as being pass attempts, rush attempts, and sacks. With acc at 16, you'll get around 120-140 plays a game which is league average. I've tested multiple games with it at 20, 18, 17, and 16 to try and get play count and tackle numbers up around league average. Not much luck so far, but I've got something to work with at least. 16 will give you spot on play count, although tackles will suffer for each team by about 10. So the challenge is to bump tackle numbers up while still keeping plays within the 120-140 range lol.

Yeah I remember WR catch at 25 not working well, but we did change a few other things like threshold and tackle too...I just used the most recent slider post from WTBB as he's been testing these alot more than I have, couldn't see any of his recent posts mentioning to change it back to 48.

Forgot to mention the question about threshold. I've played four games with it at 100 and it plays as solidly as it did with it at 0. You can notice it with the occasional DT running down a QB but I'm absolutely okay with that, it happens IRL especially blind side.

Yeah I'm totally ok with a QB getting run down since scrambling QBs are unfair anyway...just didn't want the whole "every player runs the same" kind of deal. As long as I can still throw deep and fast WR vs slow CB is still a mismatch I'm cool.

Thnx for the 16 accel suggestion. Bumping tackles up and getting equal plays seems literally impossible lol. I'm ok with having lower tackle counts.
