Alright so I'm up at halftime 24-10. Using the Cardinals against the Detroit Lions, and boy is Matthew Stafford throwing interceptions.

Stafford 20/30 247 yards 1 TD 3 INT lol 30 passes..
Carson Palmer 11/23 158 yards 1 TD 0 INT (throwing too many INC passes :/)

Andre Ellington 13 attempts 42 yards 1 TD
Reggie Bush 6 attempts 11 yards 1.8 avg 0 TD
Joique Bell 2 attempts 11 yards 5.5 avg 0 TD

I currently have 1 sack, and 29 tackles. Lions also have 1 sack, but with 28 tackles. I got a pick 6 in the 2nd Q and scored a FG with under 30 seconds to go in the 2nd Q. Will post end of game stats when I'm done.

I don't know of any money plays that always work every single time that I could use on 4th down. I audible, i don't use offensive hot routes but I do on defense. Usually theres no time on offense to either but if someone sees single high safety and wants to send the WR deep they should be able to. If theres something that always works someone figures out they can post and share and we can try to eliminate it or just avoid it. I hope the challenge the CPU provides forces people to play realistically. If someone runs a bunch of no huddle they will tire their offense out, so no need to ban that. Plus, some teams do run no huddle so it should be allowed. I can't think of anything else I've seen on other house rules. Sounds good. I'd recommend every use Rondos rosters and I don't even know 100% of what he did. But whatever he did works great for me and I've been using them since way back when I was actually trying to play Madden on default settings. Really, I just reallyyy wanted JJ Watt to not look like a huge fat guy. Stuff like that really ruins the immersion for me. Then I realized the player edits for things like DTs getting easily trucked since madden has no physics. He upped their ratings to get them to play more true to life. I can't even remember how the default Madden roster equipments look or the player faces but his everyone looks pretty good. I never notice anything that takes me out of the gameplay.

Best tip is hold the left trigger to strafe and try to move too fast. Once you read the route the receiver is running you can get into position to stay with them. But before they make their break i just strafe with them and try to stay close by.

User swatting, I usually don't move the left stick at all. I just switch and let the CPU run/go in whatever direction they were already going and just push the swat button at the right time. Sometimes I'll take control but rarely.

Yeah you change the depth chart and rosters around however you want. I switched the Falcons to a 3-4 defense in the main menu before starting a CFM up once. Changed all the player positions around and whatnot.

You mean like the playoff rosters? I'm sure you could - I don't see how removing or adding players would mess anything up.

I'm not sure if you care about the ratings so much but that's what I'm working on right now.

As a quick fix until Rondo makes another full update, I'm just jotting down the top 30 or so at all the skill positions on the madden divisonal round update. Then i'm gonna go back and compare that to the top 30 on the rondo roster, and then I'll make edits to players on Rondos roster using Football Outsiders advanced stats, Maddens update, and rondos base roster as references.

I'll only do this for players who have seen substantial drop offs or improvements. I'm not gonna touch either of the lines or the staminas of the RBs, and I probably won't touch the QBs unless one of them has had a huge turnaround.

It's not gonna be perfect by any stretch, but for me I'd like to see a guy like Josh Gordon who led the league in receiving yards in 14 games (with a combo of Weeden, Campbell and Hoyer at QB) rated at higher than an 85.

If any of you guys would be interested I'll put it up on Madden share when I'm all done.

yeah that's one of the main reasons I have it so high so they actually have eyes and see open WRs. that was one of my first pet peeves.

i don't think so. let me ask you this, do QBs you would say are averaged/bad still perform the same as the good/great ones? Do you notice defensive tackles really making an impact on the game? Pushing blockers back into QBs face, shutting down runs, etc?

Ouch. With INT at 5 right? I got one INT against RG3 and 2 on Manuel. Had a couple games in play now I didn't get any.
