I was very pleased to read the stuff about the improved o-line/d-line interaction. I was also intrigued by the talk of an improved overall feel for the running game.

The blocking and running game improvments seem good, hopefully it is implemented in a way that improves on this gen. The amount of sliders is good too. No gang tackling sucks, and I think it should have been a top priority. Still excited though. Good questions by RAC.

Yeah the O-line D-line interaction sounds great. Just ready to see what this thing can do or if it's all hype.

At least Jeremy was honest about a lot of nagging questions that people have been wondering about. No gang tackling,guys. But that's actually good. A person can make a better choice with information. Whether or not this game is for them. But it is, with no small sense of satifaction, wonderful to hear Jeremy confirm all of things that were lacking. Now us poor Chicken Little's can go back to sleep, satisfied that we were right and that it wasn't the infamous "alpha" build that made the game seem to lack. Before the flamerfest starts, I'm buying it.

I'll give props on the interview for the candor. But Jeremy and team are going to have to realize that the worm is turning. The various "fan sites" aren't so gushy, anymore. The reviews for this this year's Madden weren't that great. And the previews have been mixed for the 360 version have been a mixed bag. I just pray that the starting point that this game represents is a better direction than last gen. If by some miracle you read this Mr. Strausser, Madden's gameplay isn't that great! Please change it.

Thas the best interview so far IMO. Asked all the right questions finally. As far as the answers, some I liked, some I didnt. Only thing that worries me is we keep hearing all this talk of sooooo many new animations but I have yet to see a hint of these in any videos. The videos have not been so extensive and of course I should reserve my judgement until Im at home playing, but I dont know, I just dont buy all this animation talk.

I think the thing that I am most dissapointed in is that there is no player editing. The gang tackling issue can be overlooked because I am used to that. Quite frankly I really do think that this is current gen madden with a graphical upgrade...Looks like I will concentrate on nba 2k6...might opt out on Madden this year ...

I appreciate the candor by Jeremy as well. I won't buy the game but it's definately in my GameFly queue.
