Madden 07 screenshots on April 29th

I'm hoping to God EA tries to win the hearts of us football fans with 07. The other day i was talking to my friend who hadn't decided on a ps3 or 360 yet. I meantioned to him how cool the 360 was and how good the games were. He's a football fan so he asked me about madden. I told him it was good but it so badly lacked in gameplay features. And he told me the psp version was the exact same. I told him though that it's probably because they spent thier entire time making the grahics and physics engine that they didn't give us all those features; but this year was going to be different because the engines were already set. So far it looks like i was dead wrong. (My friend ended up getting a 360 and madden though) I don't understand how 2k was able to do so much with 2k5 and how little EA did with 06. I know its the start of a new generation, but the least they could of done was to give us everything from the last gen. I'm hoping we truly get a great football game. I want gang tackling, a better running game, MORE animations and the little stuff like Refs on the feild, different color visors, long hair, mouth pieces ala Shaun Alexander style.

It's most likely an early build but not too early. I'm pretty sure all that stuff will be in there.

I don't get why they don't show 360 screens. You think they would want to show off the better graphics.

I know last year they the 360 version was behind the other versions, and they wanted to keep things under wraps, but this year I'd expect the 360 version to be treated more like the other versions.

And what would be the reason to wait until E3? Even when there was competition, we'd get blowout previews of the football games a week or two before E3. And that was when they had a reason to hide information. Now there's next to no reason not to. The only reason I can think of is the most obvious - presenting the 360 game(s) now in their current state would do more harm than good. By waiting until E3, the games can/will get caught in the wash of information overload that will come from E3.

Maybe I remember the 360 version wrong since I haven't played it in awhile.

It's kinda funny actually. What we have here is this. Madden 2001-2006 on PS2 and Xbox look almost same. Now since people were not happy with 2006 360, they see pics of 2007 and say, ohh no that's not it. LOLOL When all they need to do is turn back the clock (2001-2006 ps2 and xbox) and it will tell them, uhhhh, yeah that IS it.
