Should Madden cost $60?

LOL. EA only rips off folks that feel their being ripped off and allow it. EA is only capitalizing on the loyalty. Try showing some self control and hold out for a release you feel is worth the asking price.

Great point. The price will drop if your willing to wait. Personally, if this game is anything like what last years was on PS2 (I'll be playing PS3 this year) I will be playing it all year. So, it will be worth my 60+ dollars.

A product is only worth what the consumer is willing to pay.

Yep, I may not play all year round, but getting a good 5-6 months, and 150+hours out of a game is great value to me as well.

Madden should definitely cost $60. Other games are in development for 3-4 years because they are new creations. The storylines, characters, environments are all make believe. Like a movie script.

The Madden developers have to somehow "WOW" us with the same script year after year. On top of that, they have to do it within the regulations of the NFL and what is real, which I believe is the tougher task.
