i wouldn't mind seein this catch like once every two or three games.

i would think this animation triggers on percentages. so you could see 3 in the same game, or none in 8 games maybe.

it not effective anyway.

Keep in mind guys, you are playing the Madden moment where this catch happened in real life.. that's why you are seeing it often. This is when he did the catch, so it's tuned to happen in this madden moment. I am not sure i have ever seen it in regular gameplay, it would be very rare.

We felt for THIS madden moment that the catch had to be in there because it was such a "wholly crap" moment. Obviously we wouldn't want it happening all the time.

Seeing things like this in the game reminds me of that old football movie where the receiver goes up to make a game winning catch and the football gets stuck right in between his facemask. I'm sure its only a matter of time before we have something like that in the game too.
