Rebuilding A Franchise

Thinking of a new franchise, want to rebuild a team bring them back to glory. Have a good first year with the building block's and improve my team through draft. Any suggestion's? I have been considering Seattle, San Francisco, Lions, Chiefs, Rams or Raiders to rebuild. Let me know what you think a good team to rebuild or if you have tried any yourself and have a story.

The Rams are pretty tough to do it with.

Alot of high-paid players that aren't giving you the bang for your buck.

And a lot of areas need improvement:

QB
O-Line
CB
Safety
LB

Go Rams, btw.

I'd go with the Chiefs. Trade away Larry Johnson for some draft picks and start rebuilding.

I'm thinking of rebuilding them too, or the Lions, but I hate the dome teams.

of the rebuilding optioins, the raiders probably have the best core of young talent at key skill positions -- QB Russell, HB McFadden, CB Asomugha

If you try it with the 49ers, trade away Walt Harris and Isaac Bruce since they always retire after this season.

Re: Rebuilding A Franchise

I liked rebuilding the Lions. Calvin can be the cornerstone of an explosive aerial attack. QBs are easy to draft assuming you have a top 5 pick and there's a ton of depth at OL in most drafts. Ernie Sims is a versatile OLB that worked for me when I converted them to a 3-4 defense. It basically is a team devoid of talent. Just get aggressive in free agency.
