I feel like there's enough to keep track of all ready with Franchise mode (contracts, depth chart, injuries, etc) to where keeping up with a practice squad would just be a waste of time.....and ignored by users.....which would mean its a big waste of developers time when they could improve other parts of the games and well from the videos I've seen the mini-game for fumbles looks pretty bad (the ref points to the wrong direction for possession and the players celebrate whether they get the ball or don't...)
