Usually by us here in Vegas they'll just pull the box(es) from the back and sit them behind the register in game section. Walmart is the way to go for midnight release - the Gamestop always has a line wrapping 100 people deep and it takes like 45 to an hour.

The last few years I just park my car, walk past the Gamestop guys and into Walmart where there might be 10 people waiting/browsing around. In and out in 10 mins.

Any big release (GTA IV) etc I just hit Walmart at 11:50...

^^ Good stuff, so if I go there at 12:30 hopefully there will be no line and I'll be in and out!

for sure at 12:30. Even if you went at like 11:55 you wouldn't wait. It's not like Gamestop where they pat you down, wand you, check your passport, and demand you pre-order Pokemon XXI on your GBA before actually handing you the game.

Wal Mart has a way bigger supply. I've had no problem here in Colorado Springs.

against my better judgment (LOL!) i think i'm going to head out to a wal-mart and grab this tonight. i called and the lady said it's on a "first come - first serve" basis...hope i don't go the wal-mart with the crowd that's six blocks long (zephyrhills, FL).

Just waiting for Sports Illustrated to ship my copy. I got an e-mail from them today and they said it won't be shipped until after the official release date.
