Depends on the severity of the injury.

A sprained ankle probably, at the most, lower it a point or two from the base (the base is determined by the durability of the player in general).

Likewise a broken finger - probably won't do much, if any, permanent damage.

Re: Career ending injuries.

This may be a stupid question, but I never check league injuries, so I don't know. When the option of Sim Injuries is turned off, does this affect all the CPU games that are played in my franchise, or do they still have injuries too? I only thought this affected Human games that are simmed, but I never check, so I am not sure. I have always turned this option off in the past because I don't want people gettin injured in pre-season since I never play those games. Can someone clarify this for me please?

Re: Career ending injuries.

so by turning off sim injuries, then none of the CPU guys can get injured in other games going on around the league?

I believe so, quickest way to verify is just to look at pretty much any non-player team during any given week, the CPU teams suffer major injuries in comparison to human played games...I always turn off sim injuries during the preaseason for this reason, I hate to see a team have to start the season without a major piece

Re: Career ending injuries.

I confirmed this last night, thank you very much. I had the injury slider up in the 60's, and after just the 1st round of playoffs, there was like 15 injured people, so now I see the difference and I turned sim injuries on and then turned the injury slider way down.
