Wow, your funny. Ian is really going to go out of his way to create a new account so he can say he's torn defenses apart with Kyle Orton.

Watching the Vikings Packers game really makes this passing game look like crap.

Look how fast every pass Farve throws is going while its traveling in the air.

As you can see defenders dont have time to come over and swat the ball away. Wish this would happen in the game.

Everything needs to be fixed. Passing, running, the trenches, everything. EA needs to get one of their personnel in a """"freestyle"""" league, I have a tumor because of this. I am never playing madden 10 again, nor will I buy madden 11 unless I see VAST improvements, instead of band aids. When you are able to get 15 yard runs with goal line with no problem..there is a problem...when LINEBACKER only nanos are getting to you in a second there is a BIG problem, it wouldn't be all that bad if Ian hadn't said they were out...sigh...just about every aspect of this game needs fixes..****nning, "Blitzing", Rocket Catching(Totally 100% still there), Trenches, Passing and ratings oh and separation(does not work at all when I can't get separation with Fitzgerald or Boldin on a weak D such as the RAMS...man o man).

Re: Madden 10 Passing Game needs fixed...

What I do not understand, is that these problems do not exist in NCAA 10, to nearly this extent.

In NCAA, I can pump fake a defender, and hit the gap, if he bites, In NCAA, Notre Dame's, Michael Floyd is a jump ball machine. In NCAA, I can throw every route, within reason.

I still have to wait on my recievers cut, but at least my passes feel like they have some crispness to them.

I honestly believe that NCAA 10 is the best football game out right now.

I had a online quick match in Madden last night, that pretty much highlighted the lunacy of this game's passing and pass coverage.

I beat this guy 28-3, and really didnt have to do all that much to do it.

Like just about everybody, his primary passing strategy is middle drags/slants, and HB flats.

If I was in man, id either control a spying LB or robber coverage defender to squat in the middle, or make sure I manually cover the HB...zone coverage, Id just squat in the middle with the LB.

For some reason, he decided to stop running the ball, when down 7-3 and began throwing nearly every down.

Once he figured out that I was going to simply squat on anything over the middle, or manually jump to cover any HB swing or screen pass...I knew the game was essentially over.

Sure enough, he began throwing deep outside, downfield. A sure recipe for eventual doom in Madden 10.

All I had to do was play cover 3, cover 4, with a zone blitz and D Line audible sprinkled in here and there, to force those lame dunk passes the QB will toss when he gets creamed, while holding the ball too long waiting for the damn reciever to get downfield, and the INTs started to come in droves..and the game got away from him fast.

I have no fear, at all of the downfield passing game in Madden 10. none. If I am audibling my zone coverage to the middle of the field, every play, I should be at least a smidge vulnerable outside, if I consistantly leave my CB's isolated in their deep zones.

Nope. Doesnt happen. At least not enough to make me have to worry about it.

The ball speed, trajectory, throwing to a spot & QB's release being faster would help this game so much!
