Guess MS just got the NBA patches done quickly. Couple questions though.

How long ago was the Madden patch submitted by EA? For some reason I had been thinking sometime around November 14th.

And is it guaranteed that it won't be any longer than 2 weeks when in the hands of MS and Sony?

No it's not guaranteed. If issues are found during certification then EA has to fix them and resubmit to MS and Sony, who restart the certification process.
