from what you guys are saying that makes sense based on the exculsive rights deal is done thru the NFL its only right they want their Network to stand out. I was always shocked they signed a smiliar deal with ESPN and not utilize it.

If EA is smart, they will take advantage of the ESPN license and also incorporate NFL Network in a MUCH better compacity.

I wish they would get the CBS and/or FOX license...how many football games are on ESPN? CBS and Fox would make it much more realistic than ESPN or NFL Network, although anything other than what they have would be cool.

I totally agree. If they are looking for costs then they should even get Directv involved with NFL Sunday Ticket kinda like 2k did with NBA League Pass. CBS and Fox are a must then worry about the others to follow. However, just like every year, I assume it will be the same.

Since NCAA 11 is using ESPN, then the teams can easily share the overlays and score banner. All they would need to do is get the ESPN Commentators. I don't see why the NFL would be upset if they used ESPN in games, while they used NFL Network in the weekly recap. If they made the weekly recap like an actual TV show, then it would be awesome, but last year I skipped watching it after like 2 weeks. It was so repetitive and not smooth at all. "This week..... the Redskins host the...... Packers of Green Bay...... at Fedex field."

Every year the question about ESPN presentation gets asked.

Every year, the answer's the same: won't happen, as ESPN won't allow Madden to use their license and/or likenesses.
