WOW read this review of Madden 2005

I think everyone here will agree with me that

That Review was biased against EA...

That said, I totally agree with what they had to say in the last paragraph about MVP Baseball and NCAA Football !!

I bought both those games, and after considerable play I've grown frustrated with them both and for baseball I picked up a solid and underappreciated (because of it's subpar graphics) ESPN BASEBALL to help pass the dog days of summer.

Now I've haven't played Madden since 2000, mostly because I was so inamored with the NCAA Football series, but after this year's step backwards (except the crowd) IMO , I like most of us decided not to purchase a 20 sack of glycoma medicine & picked up a great game in ESPN football...

If I could say one thing in closing (if anyone is still reading) enjoy and cherish the football game that floats YOUR boat from season to season, don't rely on others aggreeance, acceptance, or approval...

In my experience things change, and so will my alliances with football titles
From Joe Montana Football(tm) to Tecmo Football(tm) to Bill Walsh Football(tm) to Madden(tm) to NCAA(tm) to ESPN(tm) to probabally Madden(tm) again and eventually NCAA(tm) (hopefully) as well.

Thats not a review. It's Madden Bashfest.. The reviwer lost all cred with me when he started getting vulgar & insulting ppl.. No need for name calling when reviewing a game.. He seems to have a vendetta against EA..

I like his bashing of OS, IGN, and the other legitimiate reviewers....

The guy obviously has some mental health issues when all he does is swear left right and centre about a VIDEO GAME....

You'd think his life was over after reading that review...

On another note, I've played NCAA, ESPN, and Madden and I love all three to death (even though NCAA needs some major tweaking next year). It IS possible to like more than one football game...

Am I the only one who thinks ESPN's tackles are horrible? They look like their closelining the playing. Who tackles by grabbing the neck with your arm?

And what good is Maximum Passing if your WR drops the ball. Big blue, I could name 20 things wrong with Madden. In fact, I could challenge you to name all the things wrong in Madden and I'll match and exceed it with ESPN.

Stop bashing Madden. It's the best football game(gameplay wise) ever.

I was scanning through the review and 2 things made me just exit out -

1. There are no links, a homepage and that's it. (or am I blind?)
2. The comment about MVP...even if it sucked, that's just not proffessional.

that was ridiculous, lost all crediblity when he started dropping F bombs and sexual phrases. i mean come on is this guy 12? i have madden and espn and i been playing madden alot more. but they are both great games. its just a matter of opinion its as simple as that. however the MVP comment really erks me, baseball is my favorite sports, and i have played my whole life from t-ball to college ball. and i have also played almost every baseball videogame in between, and i have to say MVP is the most accurate representation of baseball i have ever played. i still play it everyday, at least one game a day. and i havent done that since world series baseball 98 on saturn.
