Why was Thompson taken out of the game? Especially after he hit in the bottom of the 6th.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

He probably hasn't built up enough stamina yet... it is a little odd that he would hit for himself in the 6th, but Bobby probably didn't want to burn a pinch-hitter up by 3 in that situation, especially with a short bench due to Renteria's injury.

Makes sense. And here comes Jordan with 2 on 2 out. There goes Jordan on a strike out.

Re: 2006 Atlanta Braves Discussion

Would've been a great catch, but Langer should've just let that one drop in for a single.

Now there's a man at 3rd with no outs, infield in... single, 4-3 SD.

I effing hate playing the infield in.

Double play.

Don't know what Bowen is arguing about. That pitch was perfect.

Here we go. Let's see what we can get off of Hoffman.

EDIT: Great play by Blum.

EDIT: Wow. 2 great defensive plays. Unbelievable. Comes down to 'Druw.

Damn, thought that was going to be a leadoff hit for Giles. Good play by Blum.

C'mon Langer...

Crap.
