Not too bad of a 4 game stretch there. I'm not too upset with splitting games between both Miami and Washington.

Bring on Detroit...

Would you look at that? Now at .500...

A few notes:

-J-Mac is pitching out of his mind right now. His 8 scoreless innings today were good to see.
-Hopefully Alvarez is coming around after a few weeks at clean-up. He has 5 RBIs in the past two games.
-Good to see that McLouth was DFA. He was worthless to the team. Barmes next please?
-Juan Cruz was put on the restricted list to attend to personal matters at home. He's definitely a critical part to our bullpen.

And now 1 game above .500 and in 2nd place in the Central AND we took 2 of three IN Milwaukee. Bats came alive today with 4 HRs.

Oh, and I drafted Cutch and Walker in the OSNQ League.

Hey! Another Pirates fan!

Speaking of bats coming around, we put up 8 again last night. Hopefully last night will get the ball rolling for Barmes. Presley also came back with a vengeance last night as he hit a homer just after being brought up to the MLB club again.

This team has the chance to be above .500 *knock on wood*

Good series win last night. I like seeing the team bail out the Hammer, especially with Chapman pitching.

Bring on KC

Re: Raise the Jolly Roger! Buccos '12 Thread

Figured I'd update this.

Good 3 game winning streak to rebound from a 4 game losing streak. Let's keep this going and sweep the Twins.

Notes:
-Offense is looking mighty fine Cutch is on a tear, and people like Pedro, McGehee and Barmes are showing signs of life.
-Tabata sucks. As does Brad Lincoln.

Good start out of Lincoln tonight. I didn't think he had it in him after getting shelled his past few starts.

That's all I got. We're looking good, as it's our 3rd series win in a row

Re: Raise the Jolly Roger! Buccos '12 Thread

Nothing really new to report. I can't really complain about the Buccos' performance at this point.

The one thing of note, however, is that all signs point to Starling Marte being called up to the big league club quite soon. Like "after all-star break" soon. And it's looking like Tabata might be the one getting sent down for Marte.

I'll be heading to the game tonight. As unrealistic as it sounds, I expect to sweep the Astros this series. This is a real good chance to finish the first half of the season off strong.
