Freeman will play in all 60 regular season games just as long as his elbow doesn't give him problems. Like Matrix said though, there might not even be a season with the coronavirus seemingly getting more wide spread.

Well, since Marakasis announced that he would setout the 2020 season I wondered if we would grab another OF'er. That was answered today with us signing Yasiel Puig. He's a big man but I honestly doubt he fits into our system very well. Then again, he comes in focused & plays well then problem solved.

Puig is now isolated with Covid-19 so he's now officially a FA. Wonder if that means we now just skip signing him & go after some other FA/player? I said he didn't fit in well with this current team but he does bring a lot of pazazz/energy plus power at the plate. Just a solid veteran player so I really changed my mind & decided if we would use him effectively he can help this 2020 team.

Checked both ESPN & Chop Talk & it appears we're going with a 4-man rotation with the shortened 60 game season. The 4 pitchers listed for each site are as follows (in that order in the rotation listed as):

1. Mike Soroka
2. Max Fried
3. Folty
4. Sean Newcomb

Now, I also read that we can switch around spot #4 with Newcomb going to the bullpen anytime & Cole Hamels would then fill-in that #4 spot. Hamels would start the season out in the bullpen though.

At any time Snitker is allowed to go back to the normal 5-man rotation. Hamels would be the front runner for that 5th spot but it's not set in stone because we have other possibilities including Wright, Wilson, Felix, Touki, or even Ynoa.

Ian Anderson isn't far from being ready for the MLB level. Don't think it happens in 2020 with this shortened season but definitely in 2021. I also believe we keep both Pache & Waters @ AAA for the entire season unless injuries play a factor that would give them a chance to play.

I think these 2 players are MLB level ready right now but we have some veterans in the OF that would certainly be better in a shortened season. Markasis, Inciarte, Duvall, & Ozuna should have roster priority at this point but not in 2021 with a full season.

In 2021, I feel we will part ways with both Markasis & Inciarte. Pache & Waters would then be ready for those 2 open roster spots in the OF. Acuna, Pache, & Waters are a pretty scary looking OF in my opinion but that's talk for the future.

Today is the day! Need Freddie and Ozzie to have big games for fanduel purposes. Interested to see how we handle the catcher situation. More than anything just excited!
