Game 2 was the complete opposite as I won as the White Sox 1-0 over the Indians.
Alexi Ramirez hit a solo hr for me in the 8th. Sale pitched great for me going 8 and striking out 8. I only had 4 hits and they had 10.

Trust me.
A&S this was my first game using classic pitching. As of 1 game I'm not a fan, but I dont want to just jump to this conclusion only playing one game. Is there any tips you have for using classic pitching? Does holding the button down longer increase velocity? control? I got lit up for 3 runs on 4 straight hits to open the game as it seems there was little control to where I wanted to locate pitchers, and to where they actually went.

I use power swings here and there. Typically when I'm ahead like 2-0 or 3-1. I'll also possibly try one on the first pitch if I have runners on 2nd/3rd with one out.

I'd say I use normal 90% of the time and power/contact 5% each.

I hold the button until the release... not sure if it means anything but that is what I do. Also you have to understand not all pitches r going to go to there exact location all the time. The players attributes play a major role pitching in classic mode. Am I correct in this Marino & A/S?

I understand that pitches aren't always gonna go where you intend, but it seems like a lot of them aren't even close. And a lot of pitches catch too much of the plate. I think I just need more time with it to understand it more.

Just beat the Dodgers as the Reds 3-2 in 13 innings.
I couldn't touch Kershaw the first 8 innings. Shoo hit a 2 run hr with 2 outs in the 9 th to force extra innings. I had 10 hits and they had 11. They scored both of their runs in the 2nd. Both teams hit 3 doubles, I struck out 13 times and struck them out 8 times. Very fun game.

I struggled with classic pitching last year until I read through this thread - lot of useful stuff in there, and eventually you'll develop your own method that works for you.

As for the sliders, these are great! I've played 5 games with these and had a nice variety of dominant pitching and offensive bursts. I really don't feel the need to adjust anything, so hopefully future patches wont affect the gameplay too much. This is my first time not using the ball marker for pitching and the meter off for fielding, and they were both nice changes that I quickly got used to. Well done guys!
