okay, i set all lineups, rotations, and 40 man the last day of spring training. it took about 5 hours. my question is what modes/options do you change back to auto for the cpu profile once the season starts.

When using analog pitching, quite frequently my fielders are doing the jump animation as the ball is put into play. (im guessing from pushing up on R3 to finish pitch). Quite annoying and it has cost me with hits, outs, runs, and computer getting extra bases. Any way to disable the fielding R3 jump? It seems settings only address the tilt feature for dives/jumps? Any suggestions helpful. I want to stay with analog pitching, if autofielding is my only oprion i guess ill have to unfortunately entertain it.
try changing to "one button jump/dive."

thanks for replying knight and great work on the rosters. i guess what i want is for the cpu profile teams to still stub fatigue players, but still keep the lineups somewhat the way i set them. another question is i dl all the players you listed. now in order for them to be put back on the major league team and in their right position (they are already on the 40 man roster), do i keep the injury mgt at manual. what happens if i changed to auto? i really appreciate all your efforts. you make the game that much more immersive and realistic.

Okay mooch;...it sounds like you play like I do.

I leave lineups/rotations to MANUAL....I do turn injuries(after I did the start of season injuries)...back to on. But I leave ROSTER MOVES to AUTO....so when an injury occurs...the CPU makes the call up/send down. I then get prompted about the lineup that needs to be fixed and I make the choice to set it when it happens.
I have INJURY MANAGEMENT set to AUTO(this will coincide with ROSTER MOVES)....so if a guy comes off the DL....and the roster move is done...I go in and set the lineup or rotation.
In game however...if a player is fatigued...the CPU will automatically sub(this goes for day to day injuries as well where a player is not DL'ed....)
So...after I started....
Everything except LINEUPS/ROTATIONS for my CPU teams is AUTO....TRADES are on AUTO as well.

Just make sure that the profile with the CPU settings is designated as your DEFAULT profile.

Thanks. I had already changed that one though. I lowered the fielder sensitivity slider a few clicks and that seemed to cure my problem.

Can't seem to figure this one out any were. I made a midseason trade to get another starter. Said start is now #2 in my rotation. Because everyone got bumped down one my probable starter for each game is the guy who pitched the prior day. Does anyone know how to set which guys is up to pitch next. I played one game and selected the corrct pitcher in my rotation hoping the game would jump past his turn but it still shows him pitching the next game. If I sim a game will the tired pitcher take the hill or will the game recognize this and skip his turn. Any help?

If I'm understanding you correctly...you have to re-adjust your entire rotation. It doesn't do it automatically.
