2012 Franchise Progress Thread

Had my pitcher (Chris Volstad) get hit in the head with a line drive. He immediately went down and laid on the ground in front of the mound for the duration of the play. The other team had a runner on first who advanced to third and the hitter went for second. I retrieved the ball with my SS who threw to second to try and get the runner out. It happened to sail over the 2B head and be an error. The commentary made the comment "I hope it didn't hit him where I think it hit him" and proceeded to show him on the ground. However it went to a cut scene of Castro and made the error sound and went to the next batter without my pitcher being hurt or any further comment of the situation. Not that I am complaining because I don't want my pitcher hurt

Started a franchise draft with the marlins before I start my real franchise(cardinals with OSFM) and I have a pretty decent team. My lineup is:
Alcides Escobar SS
Matt Kemp CF
Prince Fielder 1B
Michael Stanton RF
David Freese 3B
Alex Avila c
Danny(sp?) Espinosa 2B
Brett Gardner LF

And my starting rotation is
Tommy Hanson
Jarr Jurjens(sp?)
Matt Moore
A Dodgers pitcher I can't remember
Jake Arrieta

So, it's complete news to me that David Wright isn't good any longer. That fact shines through on my Mets too.

Here is a little stat comparison from my 4-6 Mets.

Batting Average: .257/.231
HRs: 6/1
RBIs: 35/6
Errors: 6/3

it's 10 games....give it a lil longer....some guys just happen to be slow starters

I can't remember the name but I got the one that had like the top 50 prospects. It's the highest rated one at like 53% I think. Not too bad to play around with for now

Just lost in the 19th inning vs the reds. The game winning hit was a sacrfice hit.... By a pitcher.
