The Miami Marlins are off to a slow start. Going into The Great Amerian Ball Park to face the Reds in a 3 game set the Marlins were coning off a 12-2 shallacking at the hands of the defending champs. Chris Carpenter had his curveball working like a fishing rod.

The Marlins lost their first 2 games vs The Reds 2-1 and then again 2-1. Burhle pitched a great game but did not get any run support.
2. Anibal Sanchez found the same fate in game 2

So game three the Marlins sent Rocky Nolasco to the hill who through 7 2/3 innings was throwing a perfect game when Joey Votto stepped to the plate and took a 2-1 hanging slider yard to break up perfection. But is was too little too late as the Marlins had a 4-0 lead going into the top of the 9th. Heath Bell came in to get 3 outs (after walking the elad off batter on 4 traight balls) to notch his first save.

Gianmarco Stanton broke out with a 2 run shot as well as Jose Reyes hitting a bomb for his 2nd HR of this young season. Logan Morrison is off to a hot start for the Marlins hitting 375 through 4 games with 3 RBI's and 3 doubles. Emilio Bonafacio finally stole his first base after being caught 3 times! So hopefully he can get it going on the base paths as he has been a bright spot at the plate so far.

Overall the Marlins are pitching great baseball through 4 games and hopefully the bats will come alive as 3 out of 4 games they have struggled.

The Marlins are on to face the Phillies for a 3 game set.

I wanna start my buccos franchise but for some reason the game wont let me "injure" aj burnett and charlie morton. When i go to the disabled list, it wont let me switch screens.

Wow. 2 heartbreakers in a row. I blow a 5 run lead thanks to Joe Blanton, and lose 7-9 in extras, then I lose 7-2 after being tied 2-2 until the 16th, because Contrearas falls apart.

19-30 with the Cubs in my first franchise play through. So far I've only made one trade. I sent Soto to Miami for Sanchez, Mujica, and Infante. That's working out pretty well so far as Sanchez is 5-1 with a 3.07. I suck horribly at hitting in this game. I'm currently last in the league with a .235 BA. I need some serious help lol.

In my Cubs franchise i'm currently 2-2. I started the seaon strong with two wins over the Nationals. In gm 1 of the series against the Brewers I led 4-2 going into the 7th, but kerry wood blew the lead for me and i ended losing 8-6.

Make sure you have Injuries set to Manual (Settings -> Gameplay -> General).

Can you set that to manual and switch back to auto after making changes?
