I downloaded this today (not sure if it was the re-release or not) and I have to say I LOVE it. It was awesome playing with B.J. Surhoff and the '96 Orioles (even Brady's juiced up stats!).

Great job, Baumy.

Oh dude, go ahead. Take what you need if it helps you out.

Good luck!

Awesome. I'm glad you like it.

One thing I remember about creating the Orioles that I really think stands out is their shoes.

Most teams just had players (even some big names) in a plain black pair of Nikes, or team colored pair of Nikes with the odd multi striped Reebok or some other brand (like white pumas) show up. But a lot of Oriole's players had some really cool custom shoes made. It was like they had something ahead of their time then since only a handful of other players seemed to have custom shoes at that point.

It may sound irrelevant or even a little obsessive, but it was just something I noticed in game that sticks out.

I'm really enjoying this roster set so far. I'm having fun playing as the Red Sox. Roger Clemens is a beast!

You should download the update man. It's nothing too different other than a few pitch clutch ratings, but man does it make a difference! The hits haven't increased a ton, but the HR's have and that makes it way more authentic and true to the game of that era.

It makes it a lot more fun IMO.
Ill update it when I next play the game. Yeah Home Runs were a fairly big deal back then so its good that will be represented more in the update.

Sweet. And yeah man, remember that in 96 the MLB record for HR's as a whole was set. I'm getting about 1-2 every game now.

Baumy, these rosters are great! I haven't had a great deal of time to play but I did start a season with the Rockies and get 2-3 games in. Also played some exhibition games with TX, BAL and ATL. Fun times.

By the way, there's still a generic MR on the Rockies. No big deal to me, I'll just edit him to someone, but thought I'd let you know.

Thanks again!

Red Socks hit two against me at Fenway in the return series. I struggle to hit HR but from time to time I can hit them. I much prefer pitching to hitting at the moment.

Awesome, good to hear you're enjoying them.

Oh, and I checked on the MR for Colorado, and everything checks out on my end. If you didn't turn injuries or CPU roster management off in franchise it probably just put him there. I'm sure you can send him down and bring the actual player back up dude
