Ok, let's see how quickly we can bang out a good 90-man roster to use for OSFM. I'll reserve this first post for just the 90 guys we anticipate having on the roster.

Well lots of the big prospects are already on the 40 man now with experience (Bird, Severino, Ref) or made last year (Judge and Mateo) so the big guys to add will be James Kaprielian and a few other gems from the 2015 draft. Drew Finley seems to be climbing the organization.

Yeah, there shouldn't need to be too many guys created from scratch this year.

I now have 89 guys listed up there, just can't figure out who will be the 1B at AAA this year. Feel free to chime in with feedback. Below I think I'll start putting together a list of guys that maybe we can create as extras.

Cashman has said it wont be Tyler Austin but I'd say keep him in mind for that until we see otherwise in spring training. There's such a log jam in the outfield at AAA that pending injuries I don't see why Austin shouldn't play first. Besides last year the kid has hit and I don't think the Yankees are giving up on him being a future right handed version of Dustin Ackley (minues the ability to play 2nd) just yet for the club.

Yeah, unless they go out and sign someone I don't really see any other option.

Sounds like Ike Davis is close to a minor league deal with the Yankees.
