Started a new one to test and did the workaround. No issues after hitting a giving up homeruns by 5 different players in three games played

Is this issue just with national league teams? Every year the show has some stat bug that kills the franchise mode.

No. It was screwed up on my Astros franchise. Luckily, I had a 30 team base franchise saved and went back and did the workaround. That's why I always keep a base in every sports title I play. Ya just never know.

So since I'll be the Cubs and will most definitely play the first game on Sunday night with them, I shouldn't have to worry about having this problem then?
