Why? Is something wrong with your blu-ray drive?

Play as the Cubbies at home with Arrieta, most likely against the Cards.

Myself, the very first thing I'll do is go to my beloved Cardinals and create the minor league players. After that, I jump right into Spring Training of Franchise mode. Whomever is my first opponent, I'll go and create their minor league system. Then after playing a game, I'll do a team's minor leagues from the Cactus League and then the next team I play I'll do theirs. I do this up until I have created the minor leagues for all the teams, all while enjoying the Spring Training of my opening season.

So what about you? What will you do?

I did this last year but am carrying over my franchise so it will just be of the updating variety.

Set up my RTTS player ( Cardinals LF ) and then begin my journey to the " Show " ASAP, no waiting around for me I will check the stuff as I go.

Usually I play an exhibition with the Rangers at the Ballpark.
This year should be no exception.

I know I said I will do my transfers (my franchise files and my classic seasons files).....but after that is done.

1) Play some exhibition games in some classic stadiums to check those out!

2) Get a feel for the game in general, browse the menu's, hit Diamond Dynasty to get that rolling as I loved it on MLB 15.

3) Hone in on any slider adjustments I need to make (All-Star....always All-Star for me) as last season they were minor in nature and I expect the same thing. This is by far the easiest sports game to tweak sliders with. Literally takes me 15-20 games to lock in my settings. It's a joy.

4) And get playing. Between my carry over Franchise (1987 Year 2), Diamond Dynasty and playing classic seasons....I will be set. My son will start a brand new franchise as well with the SCEA stock rosters. He does not care about full minors....he just wants to dive in and get going.

Re: What is the first thing you'll do after popping in MLB The Show 16?

This year even more than previous years, play a quick game in each new closed roof stadium version and the new classic stadiums on the PS4. I love to put it in replay mode and do some sightseeing and just enjoy the tremendous work done ( and the PBR effect this year wow ). I love in those games to try the new uniforms as well. While playing, I'm paying a lot attention to all the new animations and cut scenes. GF goes a bit crazy when I mimic the scene of the new catch or double play animation just saw and wasn't in the game the previous year.

A blast.

Then will transfer my current franchise. Just one little thing I think would help when transferring, is to be informed of what player cannot be transferred and given a generic name. I understand the problematic and licensing issue but just being informed would help.
