There was an owner mode? And apparently it sucked?

I started here with 14, so I must have missed it, but if it wasn't very good, perhaps it's for the best that they took it out.

I do hope it one day returns, though. A lot of the problems with the worst franchises are directly the fault of the owners. I hope I can one day control a team without fear of getting fired for missing the playoffs one or two years because an elite team was in our division.

Anyway, if these new additions are just in Road To October, then yeah, this video was a waste to me. Kids might like it, but I'm not touching it.

All it entailed was setting some prices and promotional days.

What they did implement for those that play single team control is GM mode and the chance you can be fired for poor performance.

Im actually looking forward to trying this mode out. I didnt think it was as bad as some people were saying in this post. Looked pretty good to me.

Sad. Every year this game moves further and further away from what made it the best sports game on the market at one point. This idea that everyone has ADD and wants to breeze through games/seasons as quickly as possible is puzzling. This mode is pure silliness to me and I will not even touch it.

I'm really looking forward to the stream this week as I am hoping and praying that they have made the significate updates to Franchise mode that are severely needed. If not, I may be pushed towards continuing my RTTS career and pretty much ignoring Franchise mode again due to its staleness. If it happens again this year, I will just stick with '19 going forward and stop making this a yearly purchase if all the updates are going into DD and adding modes that are useless to me.

Yea that was the lamest, most disappointing video . Looks gimmicky and like something I'll never even check out.

I haven't seen much of anything to justify a 60 dollar purchase.

New legends and the fielding and pitching upgrades are the only thing that has interested me so far.

Starting to think Diamond Dynasty is ruining this series.

Is there anyway you think in RTTS or franchise we could just have the ability to block trades? For me taking over 30 teams is just so much, it would be just nice to block the trades that don’t make sense, hope something they implement!
