A prospect of similar value should do. i know prospect for prospect trades are rarer but as long as the values equal out it should be fine. its not unheard of.

I think any of Franco/Mckay/Sanchez is an overpay for a guy that had a .9WAR last year. What about Robertson+Honeywell? Probably an overpay for the Rays but I hate Robertson IRL

Yeah, no way the Rays move Franco, especially for a reliever.

Think about the Brad Hand trade from last year-Cleveland traded Mejia (55 FV prospect=$45.9 mil) for Hand and Adam Cimber. Hand had similar numbers+term left. Cimber was (and still is) putting up solid numbers, and was controlled for 6 more years. Mejia was the #26 prospect in the league when it happened.

Currently, Franco is the #1 prospect according to MLB.com. Vasquez might get you Jesus Sanchez straight up, or McKay if you throw in another piece (Though I don't see the Rays trading him after such a strong debut).

Asking for both McKay and Honeywell is outrageous though. That's a combined $69.8 surplus for a guy who is worth around $20.

Depends on how the players are doing but that might be okay. maybe go with a younger prospect than kaprielian
