Mid-game freezing

Had it happen during MtO ALCS and now I can't validate any MtO save - even new ones - on my PS5 after a hard restart. Also a popup to first, foul, and the crash happens right when the ball hit the stands without getting caught. PS5 and internet functioning normally the whole time.

Happened to me in inning 8 popup to the first basemen in foul territory. I was pitching. Definite theme!

Has anyone had the foul ball to 1st popup freeze when not connected to the internet?

Just had it happen in the 9th inning of Game 1 of the WS on my MtO so that's great, really hope I don't lose the rewards now. Was when I was pitching and caught a pop fly to third in foul territory.

From the update notes for the patch scheduled for tomorrow morning:

- Fixed a rare issue that would cause the game to freeze when balls were hit into foul territory.

- Fixed a bug that would cause a freeze on or around 3B in certain situations.

Literally can't catch balls in foul territory anymore on PS5, got my MtO WS and now a conquest game just froze on another foul ball at 3rd

Oh thank God hopefully it's fixed, definitely did NOT seem "rare" lol
