Re: UFC 101: Declaration - August 8th in Philadelphia

The key to beat Anderson Silva is to stay on him and not give him any distance to pick you apart. Henderson's gameplan in the first round of their fight is what can beat him. Forrest's best bet is to take this to the ground. He has shown some ground skills with Shogun and Rampage so who knows. I don't like his chances if he decided to stand and bang with him.

I hope the Tamdan McCrory fight makes it to air. I gotta love a dude who looks like a geek, comes out to death metal, and proceeds to whoop *** most of the time.

I'm only picking the main card for this one:

B.J. Penn over KenFlo via TKO in Round 3.

Anderson Silva over Forrest Griffin via decision.

Amir Sadollah over Johny Hendricks via submission in Round 2.

Kendall Grove over Ricardo Almeida via decision.

Josh Neer over Kurt Pellegrino via TKO in Round 2.

I paid 200 bucks to see Anderson Silva murder Patrick Cote and he danced around like a *****. I hope Forrest murders him!

BJ is going to win this fight within the first 2 rounds. Kenny won't be able to handle BJ's boxing and no way Florian is taking BJ down. Only way this goes longer is if Kenny dances away from BJ the whole fight. Kenny doesn't have the power to put BJ down.

I think Forrest, if he follows the Hendo strategy, can win the fight against Anderson. Forrest is the biggest LHW in the UFC and I don't know if Anderson can handle Forrest's strength. If Forrest elects to stand and trade, well, we know how that will end...

As a newb to MMA I just think Forrest will beat Anderson and Kenny beats BJ. I'm probably wrong and I wouldn't bet this but I just think this happens... Sorry for ruining your thread.

Why would your opinion ruin the thread? That is what the thread is here for....
Anyways, I think BJ beats Kenny, because as a poster said earlier, Kenny won't be able to take him down and BJ's stand up is too good for Kenny. Forrest has to take it to the ground if he wants a chance. Otherwise, Silva will take it.
Unfortunately, I am going out of town today and will miss the event and won't be able to watch it online until Tuesaday
