The thing is, I'm pretty sure this isn't the first time he's made a dumb call like this.

I could be wrong but I thought he had a pretty decent track record. Not sure though

After that horrible call, why not just start a new fight over? You have to end the previous fight because of the ref, but have an immediate rematch.
