This is a weak card as far as championship implications go, but I think the match-ups have very exciting possibilities. Can't wait.

PRELIMINARY CARD

* Ricardo Funch vs. Claude Patrick
* Jesse Lennox vs. Mike Pyle
Predictions in bold. I think Liddell/Franklin could be a crazy *** fight.

me too. For some reason I'm actually wondering if Chuck will go for takedowns and change his gameplan. I wonder if he realizes his chin is compromised for real and he can't just trade and ONLY trade.

His interview reminded me of Shogun's in the sense that he was alluding to his big right hand A LOT. Shogun was doing the same thing about kicks and after the fight admitted he trained mostly punching and THAT is what won him the 2nd fight and Machida was obviously fooled by it.

If Chuck goes on and on about the right and franklin is waiting for it and expecting it and boom he gets taken down and grinded - that could easily win the fight for chuck. I think Chuck could take Franklin down almost at will. Franklin can also get caught too though, he tends to cover up too much without throwing back at certain times (imo he lost the fight to Wandy).

Not predicting chuck though, not with that chin and with his waining reflexes and maybe old-dog mentality. Winning all the time in the exact same way isn't a good thing. The game is watching you.

I'm also extremely curious to see if and how much Rich goes to his kicks. The Jardine fight is something to remember for sure.

I don't know. It's definitely possible but I just can't see it. Chuck loves to knock dudes out.

Just in case anyone doesn't know, the prelims are on Spike right now.
