Agreed, Dude still has the belt and if he's not #1 then he's definitely #2.

He almost lost, and yes he did get dominated. Lets give Chael some major credit here, he had a game plan and stuck to it. Had the champ in deep trouble, but in the end Silva came away with the win. I don't think many fighters come away with that win

Chael fought the perfect fight, and Aderson beat him the only way he probably could when you have a wrestler that good being that aggressive.

What was really surprising in that fight was Anderson getting rocked by Chael while they were standing.

Props to both fighters, they both came out big winners.
Anderson got rocked once in the first round and that was the only time Sonnen really did any damage with his punches.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yeah, and I said it was surprising.

I feel bad for these guys that can't speak english well because you have to imagine a lot gets lost in the translator. You dont get the word for word from the fighter, they give you the main point of what theyre saying. And if they try to speak english its so broken and they aren't that great so their answers are simple and often sound retarted. So its harder for them to get the crowd through words like the guys that speak english can.

No, as soon as Joe Rogan said his name, the Boo's start raining down, and they continuously booed even when he began speaking English thanking them for attending the fight.

Please give me Thiago Silva vs Dan Hardy next, that could be an awesome fight imo.
