I'm from Spain and I always is about 1 second of input lag. I'm not the best player in the world, but I'm not bad and most of the games I play I win, but when I've to play in the clutch is so annoying

To those who experience lag on a regular basis, is your NAT type set open, moderate or strict?

Is the online lag/input delay still happening on PS4? Haven't played this game in like 4 months...

In my experience it's quite common for both players to have the lag. From playing with people I know I came to that conclusion. Often times I think it's due to people having bad internet connections. If a games lagging I just try to shoot with quicker releases, still don't like it though.
