Agreed. It is really a typing contest now. And also they should set a limit for the number of pink diamond players someone can obtain so that more people can have chances to get it. Current situation is that someone has 4 pink and most of us have 0.

The problem I have with some of these Onyx cards is I can't get excited for some of them anymore knowing I won't have a chance to get the best ones since they are way too expensive in the Auction House.

To be frank, I wish these Onyx cards were more common. It doesn't really bother me if people use nearly identical lineups, the point is I would be able to mix it up with some of my favorite players from the past and knowing I likely won't ever be able to play with the Onyx versions of Tracy McGrady, LeBron James, Vince Carter and Julius Erving really stinks.

Seriously, what's the point of adding these guys if only 10-20 people on each console will be able to use them?

The point is hopefully for them, you don't get lucky and pull them within a few packs. You get hooked and buy VC for more packs.

Yep and I refuse to be suckered into it. Admittedly, I was very tempted by the VC sale but I would have most likely pulled a bunch of awful players anyways.

While these cards seem cool, am I the only one not wanting players that already have 2-3 cards already? I like the Onyx Wade, Nash, Ray Allen, Billups, etc, and others that only have like 1 card or are completely new.

I will never be a proponent of making these cards less rare. they should be rare. My problem is the **** you get in the packs. mostly worthless silvers that you cant even make any MT off of.

On several occasions, I've had two coaches in a TBT pack! Or get a silver and the next pack get the same silver.

There is something terribly wrong with 2K's random generation engine and 2K allowing duplications like that.

How many times has someone had two Onyx or Rubies in a single pack?
