well fantasy cards have better offense with good 3pt shooting. Russell has amazing defense but in 2k offense trumps defense. Also the defensive ai and controls are worse than offense most of the time anyways.

I was scouting him in the last few days. if I see one for 150k I take him. probably not over kareem when he comes out, but for defensive 3-2 bench rotation with hakeem it's going to be a fantastic deal.

actually there was one up on XB1 for 134k for about 2 hrs, looks like somebody picked it up. he is gonna be really cheap this weekend, especially if T-Mac comes out....because people will be opening a ton of packs and pulling even more Bills.

edit: he is getting cheaper by the minute. 125k on xb1 currently. also, someone boldly put a starting bid for him at 1k. if the server crashes...they are gonna be pissed. if I didnt have a freeze on my spending (for T-Mac), I'd been picked up Bill. He may get below 100k after FBF is announced.

the first people that pulled him shouldve made off. they prob sold him for like 700k and now can buy him back.

I sold the one I pulled while I could still get 200k out of him. I'll buy him back eventually. I've worked my way up to 1.3 million MT(and I still have Moments Anthony Davis) by selling all but 125(errr actually it is 178 players) of my players. I basically sold the guys I never use. I'd like to have enough to get one of the MVP players when they release. I seriously doubt if I would pull one.

I see diamond Bill going for as low as 115k on the AH right now. I don't understand.. even if there is an abundant supply of him, he is very good. Why do people not want to play with him? There are so many cards that are significantly worse going for much more money.

well, he obviously is an easy pull, in conjunction with what I mentioned before. he is the antithesis of Melo in the Diamond tier. easily the worst offensive Diamond. the one weapon he has, the hook, is a move hardly anyone uses in this game. he's undersized in terms of the game physics. the first time someone got out-rebounded with a mediocre (but taller) player, I guarantee they sold him. this happens with Rodman and Big Ben as well.

people dont know how to use him. he has to be used in a certain way to maximize his effectiveness being that he has literally no game more than 10' away from the basket.

so when you look at the things players were getting out of him, rebounding and defense, Ben Wallace literally is just as good for a fraction of the cost. so he becomes a glorified Wallace unless you can take advantage of his passing and offense around the basket.
