Jaiveer, we'd be happy to have you on board; I'll message you!We have now finished 11 teams - the 8 I previously listed plus the Blazers, Lakers, and Sonics. I will be wrapping up the Warriors and Hornets tomorrow, and probably the Nets and Bullets by midweek. At that point, we'll be halfway done - and I'm about 25% of the way through the 96 draft class, too. At this pace, we can potentially be done by Thanksgiving, or by the New Year at worst.

* Full rosters for each team (no generic players) as of 03 November 1995

* Accessories, signature shots, and the like as accurate as I can make them

* Approximately 100 real-life free agents in the free agent pool, including guys who were actual free agents, very recently retired, or playing overseas as of the season start.

* A full 1996 draft class available at the start, with at least 1 or 2 additional classes released over time.

I've done season rosters in each of the last two years (1991-92 and 1976-77, respectively), but I've never been totally satisfied with either the output or the time it's taken to finish it. This season, I have all the spreadsheets and notes required already finished, so I can hit the ground running on September 16. As always, anyone who wants to help is enormously welcome, and could definitely speed up the availability of the final set. I could particularly use somebody skilled at creating CAPs / assigning signature shots and moves, as well as somebody willing to play-test teams as they become available. I'll use this thread to post updates on the roster's progress as it develops; it helps keep me focused if I have somewhere to report results :-)
The 96 season had obviously 29 teams ..what are planing as a 30th team?

I think the Flint Tropics would be ideal but we haven't discussed it yet...

Maybe, just add a bunch of 60s on the team. Pretend their also an expansion team?

How about just adding the Warriors of last year, being that they won 73 Games and everyone thought they were better than the bulls, (NOT OBVIOUSLY) but lets see how they fair against the rest of the league that year.

To save you guys time and worrying about who you going to get to be the 30th team why don't you just make all the teams who made the playoffs that year, You know they do have a playoffs mode!

Could just add them on historic. Since it would screw up the league.
