This is another key point. If you constantly switch and play tight d on the ball handler then obviously they are unlikely to take the 3pt shot but if you just control 1 player then this gives them a chance to do their own thing.

Yeah a lot of people want to see "what they see on TV" but they don't play the game like what's "played on TV." Teams switch up defensive strategies all game, they call time-outs in certain situations, They play under screens, over screens, give space, force left, force right deny the ball etc... All of these options and more are in 2K15 but some people just play the game without using these in depth options which really affect the game. Some of these options will limit PIP, some will give up more 3's, some will take players out of the game, some will limit FGA. It's all in HOW YOU play. I'm not knocking anyone I'm just pointing out don't expect certain things AUTOMATICALLY if you aren't doing certain things.
