Reason for Association and Roster Issues for Next Gen

Ok I THINK i know why the issues are Persisting. Very simple, NONE of the guys who make or test the game PLAY ASSOCIATION. You always see them Tweeting about PARK or Quick Play Game, etc. You CANT expect a game to put much into a MODE that is NOT played by the guys testing or developing the game. I mean of COURSE Rosters wont be an ISSUE, because they are NOT playing thru an Association. CPU AI Trade Logic, CPU Signings, etc. CANT be a Priority IF they are NOT playing that MODE. If they played ON-Line Association, they would realize the Importance of Customization. IF a League wants to Make their Own Roster and Draft Classes they should be able to do it. They should be able to Customize Sliders. I WOULD play On-Line IF I could USE Custom Rosters and Draft Classes. WHY should everyone be forced to play with SAME settings? I mean they even took away the Ability to SAVE to your HARD Drive, someone PLEASE explain why that happened. And please DONT say they didnt have time. They have KNOWN Next Gen was coming out for OVER a year. POOR Use of time is NOT an excuse to release a game with Flaws contained in NEXT Gen. UNTIL they get someone who WANTS to play an Association in Development team the issues will persist and KEEP getting worse.

You WOULD think the Basics would be in 1st NEXT GEN Release, then BUILD off that BASE for FUTURE:

-Ability to Customize Roster(Player Editing,CAPs and CATs)
-Ability to SAVE Roster and Sliders to Hard Drive
-Basic Game Modes(Quick Play, Off-Line and On-Line Association Modes)
-Ability to Customize Associations (Off-Line and On-Line)

Well it shouldn't have went away but the CAP's , Roster editing , Saving files ect a lot of people bought this game including tons of casual gamers some that might not even play basketball ever just because it looked graphically amazing and was one of the more talked about games and when it came out those kind of gamers bought it and probably speaks for majority of gamers ( not including hardcore ) they don't give a crap about roster editing or CAP's or anything you might on here they just go on and play until they get bored and play something else and to 2k this is perfect.

I agree with the sentiment that dev doesn't play any of the association modes. If they did I don't think there is anyway that some of the problems that have existed for years would continue to exist.

Valid points BUT will the Casual Gamer keep buying the game for 5-10 years, like MANY of the ACTUAL Basketball Fans will? No. And to me that is a HORRIBLE business plan for the future of this basketball series.

What 2k is doing is taking the ability to customize , to our likeing thats the ?. WHY, they all put the ability, CAP, EDIT, CUSTOMIZATION , Taking away from the ROSTER MAKER, now all of a sudden its a BIG PROBLEM to them. 2k series, with VC , no ONLINE LEAGUES, NO ability to SAVE to a HARD DRIVE, ALWAYS GOT TO STAY CONNECTED ONLINE, 2K is going down the wrong ROAD

2k simply doesn't have enough time in a year to make sure the game is up to par. It's a meh making business and 2k is focusing on that aspect now. They focus their efforts on devising ways to get us to buy VC.

Considering how long the game has been out, the terrible problems the game has and patches that have been made, its the only logical explanation. Shame on you 2k, you're about ruin a very good thing.

Re: Reason for Association and Roster Issues for Next Gen

Currently the online league:

Only allowed us to play a game of at least 30 attempts.
Transfers do not require management approval. Also not allowed to send more than one possible trade between the same teams.
No permits the expulsion of a player by the league administration. Neither the gameplay settings.
Only allows the creator of the simulation league and reset their own party, but can not do it with other users.
Not allowed to set rotations, playbooks, assigning each player plays ...

This, coupled with the impossibility of playing modes and mygm myPlayer, make the "Best Sports Game of the Year" .. unplayable!

A shame for all lovers of the saga we buy the game every year since its appearance! My Gamertag is Jugosgastrika. Regards!
