Re: Offensive rebounding

No offensive rebounding issues on exhibition, MyGM, etc. Offensive rebound by CPU in MyCareer needs get fixed though. Your teammates don't know how to properly box out and they can't play D.

Yea because the Putback tendency is for actual putack dunks and layups. Meaning before they land.

I know it might have happened before but I saw the CPU actually pass out an offensive rebound last night. I was wowed lol. It was so surprising to see it though. I think it was Tony Allen.

Re: Offensive rebounding

There is a off rebounding issue for both. Two reasons. One is the off guy reacts much quicker. And two are the horrendous rotations by defense. And one more thing to add if u get caught on pick and roll and your a guard and force the big man to switch then your guard is gonna lose that rebound.

Re: Offensive rebounding

2nd jump for most players is entirely too quick. This includes going back up right after an offense board for a quick layup/shot at the rim, as well as jumping multiple times to get a rebound that's being tipped around in the paint.

For example, in my career, I got 4 consecutive boards and 4 shot attempts at the rim on the same play, after a failed initial layup attempt. I was unable to connect after any of my follow ups, but there's no way I should have had that many opportunities to score on that play.

Certain players are praised for their ability to get off the floor after having jumped just milliseconds ago. But this is not a quality most players possess. It's almost something that could have been a sig skill last year. Instead, anyone can do it this year.

Also, FG% after an offensive rebound is too high, even with contact (but that's for another thread?)

Thanks for soliciting our feedback, Czar.

I have now seen it 3 times in my last 2 games.

I am starting to think....there are no real hard core glaring issues..the game is playing damn good.

Don't nerf it...please. Just do some fine tuning...nothing too drastic is needed IMO.

Re: Offensive rebounding

With my 6'3'' PG I grab 2.5/3 off rebs per game.
Playing on HOF or SUP/sim.

I'd say rebounding in this game is aight, it's all about positioning.
They MUST fix the defense at the rim, the teammate AI contesting shot and the CPU post shots percentage (waaaay too high).

He's the Rockets, the CPU are the Raptors who only had 8 free throws.
