NBA 2K16 Wishlist Thread

1. Get the rights to use Madison Square Garden and TD Garden

2. If you can't get the rights to a certain player, (Kareem in the '70 Bucks, Van Exel and Fox from the '98 Lakers) don't have them in the game. It's not fun using a couple of guys from the team.

3. Bring back The Association. This mode was so fun offline and online, it just has to be in there.

4. Take off The Park and put back Crew. The lag affect your jumpshot (for me that is) and for it to lag this bad, especially when majority of people complain about the servers doesn't make for a great mode.

5. Make people for vote the songs in the game on the 2k website. I'm sorry but I can't ball up when Lorde, Junior or No Doubt is playing. I know Pharrell is a great artist but he was the wrong guy to choose the playlist this year

Idk if these count a wishlist or a complaint, but I hope this changes for next year.

all tendencies should be shut OFF if a user is controlling that player. for example, if i'm a PG at the top of the key trying to feed the post, there should zero possibility of me getting a bounce pass, a flashy pass, or any other kind of pass besides a basic one.

if I'm a big man and i step in front of a player driving, again there should be zero possibility of me dropping on the floor trying to draw a charge.

in short, if you're going to give players controls for specific situations, dont just trigger whatever the heck you want.

Please bring back custom sounds (provided Microsoft & Sony add the capability). Go a step further and let me create my own soundtrack playlist because the last two years have been dreadful.

The real player voices were cool at first, but eventually, they get old because they say the same stuff and have that awkward posture. I would much prefer 2K add more "real" arena sounds and ambiance; lighting, rims, nets, arena specific chants, moods and player calls. Custom sounds could also help in this regard with licensed music for timeouts and action breaks.

Also, please add more stat overlays overall and a freaking free throw banner so that I can know what to expect from a player at the line.

I'll start with a minor thing but it's something I've been wanting to be in the game for a long time... Ability to make any broadcast stadium camera your default one.

Bring back the NBA Greatest mode. It was really well done and it gives the classic teams a little more context. The era specific filters not only looked great, but the grainy nature of it helps hide the fact that the legends aren't scanned. It's especially noticeable on the XB1 and PS4. Seems like a win on all fronts.

Gameplay ideas

I find too many times my teammates don't play with any sense of bball knowledge. I don't know if this is a SS sim setting thing or just my IQ of the teammates has been nerfed for difficulty purposes.

• Help defense setting what happened to it? I want my team to help and rotate but they are just too slow. The CPU helps and pre-rotates they see the play coming and rotate. I want my teammates to do the same but they are too slow with the help.

• Too many times players are trailing a defender from behind in the lane with no picks being set. This doesn't happen that often in the NBA not even for bad teams please eliminate that cheese that the CPU is using. I will be sticking the pg coming up the court and he just throws a backdoor cut to my CPU covered man trailing his man in the lane it just looks so unrealistic for an easy layup. It is not this easy in pickup games at the Y, it can't be this easy in the NBA
• The default level of awareness for the CPU on SS is just too high for plays. I find the CPU playing pick and pops in an unrealistic way. They sort of mirror the play like they already know what is happening especially for the hedger. Hedgers are almost face guarding the roll/pop too close. It is like the hedger already knows that guard is not getting to the hole. I would love to see the CPU actually process and guess wrong on a scheme.
• I would love to be able to get a defender to turbo and jump his way out of the play to run me off the 3pt line without having instant reaction to get back in the play. I would also like to have the defense have to rotate over to cover the run off the three point line and keep doing this which forces me to pass the ball and keep passing to get an open shot. I just want some more realistic bball in the game
• Give users control over jump, defense control. Get rid of all those delays when trying to defend the paint. The guards are penetrating too much so you guys decided to delay our blocking and jumping ability where it should be the guards should not be penetrating that often.

Or if i want to quit a game i dont want to have to sim it all the time
